當小孩在學校打電話回來，說有一機構國際愛優生文化交流協會及礦工兒子教育基金會，要贊助小孩到美國做”高中交換學生”，她想要去考，想到美國唸書。當時我心想：「怎麼可能有這麼好的事。好吧！讓她去考，不見得會考上。」
當時就答應她也鼓勵她努力考看看，而我也並沒有去在意，因為心想怎麼可能有這麼好的事。
當小孩又打電話回來說，他考上了，很興奮的訴說，而我也很意外，簡直不敢置信，之後愛優生打電話說要我跟小孩去面談時，我才相信這是真的，上帝真是好照顧我們，當他關上一道門時，又為我開了另一道門，到美國唸書是我想都不敢想的事，我一個女人帶三個小孩，加上自己又有心臟的疾病，小女兒又有”類血友病”，光是生活上及經濟上就讓我疲備不堪，想都沒想過小孩可以到美國唸書。而且費用全免，還贊助生活費，真的大感謝礦工兒子基金會、愛優生執行長，是他們給了我們這個機會，讓小孩可以圓夢，而礦工兒子基金會也為一些想要讀大學的院童，成立”助學圓夢計劃”藉此鼓勵激發小孩的鬥志，不斷地向上求進步，畢竟想要這些小孩脫貧，唯一的路是求學啊！希望社會大眾能在礦工兒子基金會上能共襄感舉，來完成這次的慈善義賣會。

第一次到美國感覺很新鮮要入關的時候很不幸的被攔住了因為我少了一張要填的白卡第一次來的我什麼也不知道即使海關人員解釋了還是霧煞煞的所以好心的他還很親切帶我去填卡了在台灣應該不會受到這樣的待遇只會叫你自己想辦法吧真的令我留下很深刻的印象這讓我好開心因為在自己徬徨無助時有人幫忙的感覺真好 Continue Reading »

要上場比賽搂~

其實美國人不一定比我強~XD
準備中，等待出發
我的盔甲，很重，也很貴，穿上他什麼都不怕，超堅固。ps.美式足球不可以在閃電的時候打，因為都是鐵會觸電。路途遙遠，要遠征去別人家作客。
這場賽事我第一次上場，教練不太敢用我。
因為上次我轟弟(巴西人)他腳打美式足球被撞斷。
但最後教練讓我用後補上場~
60號是我~85、87、40都還只是國三生，
比我還大隻，但我跑比他們快XD
這不是我們的比賽，因為比賽時我沒照像，
但是那是我比賽時打的位子(Defence防守)
這是我那天做到的，
所以大家都說I did a good job.
下次有機會先發喔~
下星期五在主場打球，

Dear Ayusa,
Hi, this is Sandy going to tell you some news of late.
Now I’m living with a nice and lovely family which is in Beaverton, OR.
I’m junior grade in Aloha High School which is more than two thousands of student in it.
Although it’s bigger than i imaged, most of the students are really nice and i have made lots of friends so far.
Just don’t be shy is my motto.
October 1st, i did the presentation about Taiwan Moon Festival in my classes.
Here are some pictures we took.
I designed a powerpoint of the Moon Festival and made pineapple cakes instead of moon cakes by myself until midnight.
Well i brought my mac laptop to school but it couldn’t work to show on the overhead projector. Therefore, the students helped me to change other laptop. Unfortunately, the music in it couldn’t work that’s really disappointed.
Although it wasn’t perfect but everybody liked it and enjoyed my pineapple cakes！！: ) I really appreciated of my teachers and hope I can do other more introduction about Taiwan for everyone in the future. I won’t give up.
