Let me tell you something!

I really really had a special 18 birthday~

Actually, my host family celebrated it on 11/20,

because we were really busy on that week.

Before 11/14, I thought it was on 11/8 I received Andy’s card!

He wrote me a really full card! ^.^

Then, I received a really thick envelope.

It’s from my classmates 315!!

I received it on 11/13 here,

so it was 11/14 in Taiwan.

You guys really have a good sense of time.

I was really happy~

Thank you guys~

I will find some days to answer your letters.

On 11/14, I was really busy, because I had All State Choir on 11/15-11/17.

I needed to turn all the homework on my birthday.>.<

But there was an angel who gave me a really big surprise!

I received a vase of flowers and a really cute card.

It was from my host brother!

He was in his Thailand Mission Trip that day,

but I think he planed it before he left.

My host mom, host sister Leah and Yejin bought me a 『Happy Birthday』 balloon, and wrote me a card. ^.^

After prayer meeting that night,

we went to Starbucks to drink coffee and eat some snacks.

On 11/20, all my host family came.

There were my host dad, host mom,

host brother Jeremiah and Micah, host sister Hanna,

Leah and Yejin, host brother-in-law Craig, and Vincent who is from Hong Kong!

My host mom cooked my favorite food ——- spaghetti!

After dinner, we all sat down and I started to open my gifts!

My host mom and dad gave me one green pants, one red coat,

one pair of really thick purple socks, and hot chocolate ice-cream.

My host sisters and Craig gave me an album,

a dress pants, and a dark blue shirt to match a really cute sweater.

Vincent and Micah gave me 20 dollars each.

Jeremiah gave me 2 purple small square pillows with shining gold elephants on them!!

He bought them from Thailand!!! So good!! I really love them.

After my birthday, Alice gave me a polar bear doll. It’s really cute!

I also got a lovely dolphin necklace from my lovely classmate Lilly!

And everyone’s blessing that said happy birthday to me!!

My best friend Jenny also tried to call me.

I know you tried really hard!!

English is so hard for me.
Everyday I have so many homework to do…..
and I need to go to bed at 10 p.m.
So many words that I don’t know.
We have many project, too.
But my host mom doesn’t want me to do my school work all the time.
She wants me to spend time with family.
Like:watch movie, walk the dog….
I want to do that too!
But……><
She said spend all the time on the school work isn’t an American way,
and it’s not her way, too.
I want to spend time with them.
I also want to do well in school.
How can I do??
Please pray for my English~
Because all the problem is my language problem.
Something that my classmates just need to spend one hour,
I need to spend 5-6 or 7-8 hours><
My weekend…….
Most of my weekend is doning homework……
