This month has been a really good month, I received president reward for my community service, I am so happy and really appreciate to my CR, this really means a lot to me! when I received the reward that day I just finished my baseball practice so I was so tired and my host mom suddenly handed me a big envelope. I opened it and it really gave me a big surprise. All my family are all very proud of me too. on that reward it has a letter from white house and signed by Obama, I took my time and read it and it really gave my this exchange student year a big big affirm. I have been so blessed here, everything is going so good.
I live in the country and I have been so enjoyable of my country life here. on the weekends I usually goes to my friend’s house camping, ride horses, go to lake swimming and fishing, go to my host grandparent’s house help them work on cattle. this brand new experience I will never have chance to learn back in Taiwan but this year in here I learned it and experienced it already.
This month I also played my spring baseball too, I had a lot of fun and coach told me that I have improved a lot. I usually played second basement or left field, baseball is new to me but now I totally love it .I really wish that i have more time to play baseball in here cause I never got to played again i think. now i am pretty excited for our next game tomorrow, ready to played some baseball again! just really love here and I wish I have another experience to attend college here.

春天終於來了!大地在歡笑，花兒吐露著芬芳，一切都變得美好!
新的季節，全新的開始! 擺脫了厚重的大衣圍巾手套，迎接春天的到來!

從原本秋天光禿禿，落葉滿天飛，經過了寒冷風霜的冬天，這棵樹禁得起各種考驗，直到春天，院子中的花開了!

過了不到兩個禮拜大部分的花都謝了，同時長出新葉子!
這明顯的變化卻點滴提醒了時間的流逝…

我們戲劇社這一個季節演出的音樂劇”Beauty and the Beast Jr.” 正是迪士尼卡通鼎鼎大名的”美女與野獸”，我擔任的角色是”silly girl”，一個喜歡男主角Gaston的角色，Gaston 喜歡Belle公主(貝拉)，總是以各種方式討好Belle的歡心，但是Belle真正喜歡的則是野獸Beast…。
我的轟妹Sydney今年九年級(freshman)，奪得Belle公主的角色，這個角色只限高中的女生來爭取，她以參賽者之中最輕的年紀，但最有實力的歌聲和演技獲得指導老師的共同錄取標準! 而我另一個轟妹Isabel,是戲劇團裡面年紀最小的小朋友，今年三年級，她在洗禮中扮演小茶杯Chip的角色，她住在野獸的家中，在Belle被野獸禁足時，總是為Belle加油打氣。
在戲中我們除了演說技巧，歌唱能力，克服緊張之外，最重要的還是團隊合作的精神，我從中學到了很多，也很慶幸，驕傲自己能成為其中的一員。當初甄選會吸引了全校四分之一的同學都來報名，唱一首自選曲加上念一段老師給的台詞
一切都須經過高標準才有這個榮幸來演出呢!

上一齣戲我沒有台詞，只是在後面跑龍套的一個小角色，這次的演出令我感到格外雀躍，終於真正在台上有一刻大家都很專注，很享受你的演出!

學校生活中，最近寫了一篇小論文，演講課的時候要和大家報告。
我就台灣近幾年很熱門的話題”出生率下降”為主題，探討全世界各國對人口出生率所造成的影響；健康課則提到了台灣的健保制度，看醫生用到的”藍色小卡”健保卡，相較於美國，在台灣只要一生病或覺得哪裡不對勁時就可以馬上去看醫生，在美國則要先預約，幾個禮拜後才能和醫生見面，而且費用不便宜。台灣是全世界看醫生最便宜，品質又高的地方! 對一個遠在異鄉的台灣人來說深感驕傲!

Easter，西方的重要節日之一，我了解到耶穌對後世人們所造成的極大影響力，前一天晚上Easter Bunny來到我們家準備每一個孩子一個basket，我們在爺爺奶奶家舉行”Easter Eggs Hunting”，慶祝一年中重要的日子之一。

俄亥俄州…一個翱翔天際夢想與探索新世界的起點…
或許天意就是如此…要我在這裡好好的探索這“不一樣”的新世界…才會把我“擺”到這裡，跟一個與上帝有極深羈絆的家庭一起生活…體驗到不一樣的觀點

在感恩節前的星期日，教會的青年團體（youth group)有一個募款性的點心競標晚會，而募來的錢就做為youth group的各項支出
多虧了這個youth group在我剛來到Ohio的時候就交到了很多超棒的朋友！所以嚕~為了表達我的話感謝之意，再加上我遠近馳名的異國廚藝不做點東西贊助一下怎麼行呢？

教會裡面的體育館滿滿的都是競標者喔!!

所以嚕~我就做了還頗拿手的鳳梨酥
不過…前一天晚上在做鳳梨酥的時候，不小心碰到魚刀（利的很可怕…碰一下就有很深的傷口…)
在手上劃出深深的傷口…20多分鐘血還止不住…鳳梨酥又在烤箱裡面待太久…oh…gosh!簡直比屁股著火還著急…
幸好…血在鳳梨酥要著火燒起來以前（很明顯的…這是誇飾法…)總算止住了，看一看鳳梨酥的面相…還算不錯啦!一樣是金黃色的~不過有點氧化而已… ：D
不管那些~總而言之還算不錯啦！至少沒有沾到我的血~

競標中…會被用多少錢買走呢??

Dessert auction (點心競標）真的是一個超新鮮的體驗，第一次參加這種性質的競標活動…而且我發現所有參與競標的人不只是競標…其實在這競標會裡標到的東西，大多數都可以在外面以更便宜的價格買到…他們願意花100塊去買一個布朗尼，在外面可以用同樣的價格買好幾個一樣大的，但為什麼他們會願意買？
答案其實很簡單…因為這些大人們＂愛＂我們阿！如果少了這筆錢，我們會少多少樂子阿？

好…十一月的重頭戲thanksgiving來了!!
一大早就跟一群朋友還有大人們一起去學校打football,生平第一次ㄟ！！！一開始，我不敢推太大力，結果一交鋒就被對方撂倒…還被踩到…
痛阿！！！
接下來，還想什麼？用力往前突進就是了！越推越有勁，最後竟然很享受每次交鋒時的＂碰＂＂碰＂＂碰＂的人體衝撞聲…
雖然玩到滿身泥巴，指甲斷兩根，右大腿拉傷，但還是很開心…

全身泥!!!哈哈~還跑到walmart裡面買飲料LOL

一回到家打開門，一陣濃濃的火雞香撲鼻而來，餐桌上的佳餚已經準備的差不多

生平第一次吃到道地的火雞耶！不過…可惜的是，轟家不怎麼會煮菜…害我失望了…還是有濃濃台灣味的火雞肉飯好…可惡…我餓了…
（好…離題了…回來回來~）
不過…內餡是不錯吃啦…想說要個食譜自己做做看…
結果竟然是…外面買現成?!
（驚恐機歪臉！）

而感恩節最重要的就是家族團圓啦~所以嚕~就跟轟家去跟他們的大家族來個大聚會啦~而且遇到一個芬蘭來的交換生
話說…準備大餐的人多，食物當然就多很多來祭我五臟廟（要hold住…不能吃的太誇張… XD）總之就很多很好吃啦！
吃完飯後，party time!!!所有的小孩都一起玩quelf（一個怪怪的board game,但很好玩，要做很多怪事來達成條件）之後一個表妹還拿吉他唱Taylor Swift的back to December, 挖賽！根本一模一樣！！他的姐姐是專業的MV製片師，還幫她拍了一支MV，真是太正點啦！

十一月…唉…football season(美式足球季)結束了…marching band（行進樂隊）也隨著結束了…
好難過呀！！！！！在football field 旁邊跟朋友一起swag， 跳舞跳的跟瘋子一樣，看別人的旗隊太胖衣服跳一跳爆開開始狂笑，跟大家一起穿著雨衣（超級無敵不保暖！）在大冷天裡一群人全身溼溚溚的抱在一起取暖，在homecoming的post-game一起丟起司跟青豆然候被老師罵(還蠻危險的ㄟ…青豆還在罐頭裡…我這個不幸的小孩就被打到頭…痛阿！）
總之…有好多好多的美好的回憶都有這些樂隊的瘋狂朋友的份，完全無法想象離開Bedford以後會有多想念他們…

對他們來說是異國文化的體驗，對我來說是個文化交流大好機會，不好好把握行嗎？

行進樂隊季結束了…室內樂季就開始了…而美國有它特有的＂爵士樂＂不體驗一下怎麼行呢？所以就參加了爵士樂隊的甄選
上了！yes!!
一開始，完完全全沒接觸過爵士樂又不懂音樂名詞的我根本搞不懂發生什麼事，要幹什麼
特別是獨奏…ugh…殺了我吧…根本吹不出什麼好東西…
要加油！！

話說…秋天了嘛…要掃後院…但是光做工有點太無聊了~所以大家就邊做邊玩嚕!!

This month is really a wonderful month, got second place on the scholastic meet in Murry state college. My host parent are really proud of me even a lot of teacher in school too, and my host brother win in different subject too.This meet is like a lot of students from different school and they have different subject that you can going in, its like a big competition. Me and my host brother really did a good job,proud of ourselves too.
Time have really past so fast, it’s like two and a half month left, I really really love here the people the surrounding the society just make me change a lot. I just want to say I am so thankful I have this so wonderful experience here, it’s really hard for me to understand the time that I have to go back is coming up, but I believe this beautiful memory will always be in my heart. And I really will try to come back for college, just so I can study in beautiful Oklahoma .My host parents have been so so nice to me just like my real parents, they treat me just as their kid. I am so thankful for all the things that they had done for me, even though in this two months my host parents already lost four family members. I know it’s really hard for them and it’s really hard for me too cause they are my family. Me and my host family’s love is so deep that some people even couldn’t understand remember one day in this month i got a really bad stomach ache so I could not sleep all night, my host mom even stay up all night just to take care of me. this love is just touch me so deep so deep.
oh another thing is i really had an awesome spring break, I went with some exchange student from Oklahoma, this trip is schedule by our CR. All of us are about 17 people, we went grand canyon, carlesbad cavern, ice cave and white sand. We go through Texas, New Mexico, Arizona. We really had a lot of fun, and I met some new friend that is an exchange students too. We went to a big steak house called Big Taxen, oh my god it was so delicious will enjoy rest of my life here
