Mission Trip是學校一年一度，為期一周的例行活動，
目標以藉著劇及小我的力量幫助弱勢地區的人們。
像之前的卡翠那颶風，學校曾開著載著30餘人的小黃校車風塵僕僕的下去幫忙。
而今年，我們可沒那麼克難，
位於伊利諾州的Peroia是我們的目的地。
小黃巴載著28個學生加6個家長，
歷經十五個小時的車程，我們到了Peroia.Peroia,百分之85的黑人人種，
街頭槍戰，販賣毒品，未成年懷孕比例每年直直上升。
我們跟這裡當地的South side mission機構合作，
目標是幫他們架設一個供青年娛樂的戶外攀岩場以及在當地總部工作。
照片是每星期二定期舉行的girls’ club.
實在是難以想像才7,8歲的他們，身心靈上有如此沉重的包袱…
跟我同桌的小女孩們跟我分享他們的家庭，
家裡至少5個兄弟姊妹，
每天晚上7點以後媽媽不知去向，早上8點到家，
家裡沒有爸爸這個名詞…
家裡的男孩子更是從十歲開始街上販毒，
一星期一次兩小時的youth group是他們短暫的避難所。
And the ugly fact that makes me cry is that a little girl told me her sister was raped at school last Monday,
and she is only seven year old.Compare to them,
we are living in the world which is way better.
But how many of us are cherished the life we have?
How many of us take it for granted?
看著他們一個個天真的小臉，卻以了解這個社會的現實面。這樣的惡性循環要何時才能根除? 經過這一周的洗禮，
我真的收穫了不少。

今天學校放假一天，
說是總統節。
我閒閒沒是在家晃，
突然接到另一個的國交換學生,
Giana媽媽的電話，
說他家有一個ladies party,
問我有沒有興趣去做一個有關自己國家的簡介。真是個好機會出去放風。在電話中他提到約有10餘人，
是一個小聚會。我套上半身旗袍，
下搭牛仔褲，
雖是非常不正式。
But our ’shining’ traditional top already out shone the little black spot.There were three of the exchange students doing our performance.
Crisi and Giana went first,they introduce their country, Germany to others.
Then, it was my turn.
I did the powerpoint that I did it twice before.
Speaking to the crowed, not a big deal for me.
I think the got some of my main points,
1. Taiwan is an independence country
2. The misunderstanding of Taiwan and Thailand.
I am really appreciated that Mrs. Lepp(Giana’s mom)gave me the oppurtunity to share my country to others.
Not only let others learn something new,but also let Taiwan, this country stuck in their heads.(hope so…lol)
