Ling Ling in AR…蔡佳霖
Dear Charles and AYUSA:
I would like to tell you about my experience so far here in the United States.
I have a very sweet host family they are very similar to my family in Taiwan. It is very easy for me to live here, because I feel my Mom and host Mom are the same.
School in the begining was a little difficult because English is my second language and I could not understand everything. Now THINGS ARE MUCH EASIER. I am very active with volleyball and am a member of SHHS team. My grades are A’s and B’s.
Since August 14 I have experienced many things so I will list for you:
Met all the family and friends, experienced Perseid meteor shower, ate Thia food prepare by my sister Natthaya, visited the Mississippi Delta Queen, attended two pool partys, went to National Cherokee event in Oklahoma, toured the USS RAZORBACK SUBMARINE and the OLD STATE HOUSE, I have also experienced Auctions, Hippie Hill, Heifer Ranch for global VILLAGE DAY, Petit Jean and viewed The museum of Automobiles. These are a few of our family activities I have also done normal teenage things like shopping and sleepovers with my friends.
I am having a good time, I respect my host family and help with chores. Please do not worry about me.
Ling Ling
