Time really goes fast. I can’t believe I’m here in America for two months. The beginning of school was a kind of hard. I had no idea with the school in the first week, sometimes I was really disappointed. I always told myself to be active and be brave, even though I was still felt sad. I told myself I’ll get better!!

Things change when you think in the good way. Now I got a lot of friends in school, they’re really nice! I really love them! It’s so awesome to make friends.

sophia05.jpgI join the Asian club, we really have fun in the club. The homecoming is going to be next week, we’re going to have a parade, and our club is going to be in the parade. And we also have fun raise! Isn’t that cool!? And our orchestra class is going to NYC on November 25.I’m going, too. We can sale the entertainment book to raise money for our trip. you can get 5~6 dollars for selling each book. I already sold four books, so I don’t have to spend my money, isn’t that great?!!!!The assignments in school are ok so far, there is something I still don’t understand. But I try my best to do everything, I’ll be very happy when I get A. The hardest subject for me is History. I’m sure I’ll get better! On the Moon festival, my host dad bought the moon cake and we celebrate it.On the Teacher’s Day, I made some simple cards for all of my teachers. In the cards, I wrote the introduction of Teacher’s Day and Happy Teacher’s Day in Chinese. I also appreciate them for their instruction, they were very happy. They just like 『Oh, that’s so sweet.』 『We should also have Teacher’s Day.』 One of my teachers even said 』Confucius is my hero.』 and my orchestra teacher gave me a big hug! I felt so sweet and happy! With my host family, I made dumplings with my host mom. But it wasn’t successful. Never mind!!I got friends when I went to orientation of exchange students we had a really good time.

Anyway, I really have fun here, even though I got serious homesick, but I got over it! When you get though all of these hardship, you’ll feel that everything is worth it. I’m learning every day, learn how to get along with others, and learn about different culture, that’s awesome!!!
